10 Random things about me:
1. I didn't go to my junior prom. Went to scout camp instead. I did attend
my senior prom on Feb 14 - I was the only one who dared wear red and
had to live with being teased with the song, "Lady in Red".
2. My secret dream since I was little was to be an astronaut.
3.
Been tinkering around the kitchen since I was 8 or 9 - gelatin
desserts, stove top popcorn, cookies, no-bake brownies and fried rice.
Cooked my first actual main dish when I was 11 - a modified paella
valenciana dish from a tomato sauce can label recipe. I picked my own
ingredients from the wet market the help took me to.
4. I've
only been to 2 countries outside Philippines. China, twice; and
Singapore, once, where I lived and worked for 6 months and addicted to
it.
5. I've never been formally employed since graduating
college. A one-time foodstyling project nudged me into freelance work - styling, R&D, consultancy;
which I love, but very stressful - need a career change!
6. I'm 26 and voting in the
elections the first time. Last 2 elections, I was out of town and out
of the country during the registration period, respectively.
7. I had mid-back long hair which I cut just last Sunday, on a whim with my sis, to
this short, the front is only a bit longer.
8. I would love to meet actor Leonard Nimoy(Spock, Star Trek). I'm half Vulcan.
9.
I love water, fresh warm soymilk and peanut butter(Treenie!!!). I'm
slightly lactose-intolerant. I don't like wasabi, radish and mayonaise.
10. I have my own clubhouse sandwich special I put together when I was 9.
pile it in this order...
bread - white or wheat, lightly toasted
peanutbutter - preferably natural
banana slices
strawberry jam
bread
mayonnaise/mustard
scrambled egg
ham
ketchup
bread
slice diagonally and eat. very nice with a cold glass of ovaltine.

ryc: we rode the gondola 2 yrs ago that time before the proposal so this time we didn't....we ate at goldilocks,chowking,red ribbon at saka jollibee..theey have all those in vegas eh....we also just gambled in one casino my fave MGM grand. we also rented a car kase this time we wanted to be able to drive around mas convenient eh. ano nga pala cell phone mo para tawagan ka na lang ng ninang ko so u could get the whisk ung wedding favor nmin.
